Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how Sequence ("we", "us", "the app") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the application on iOS and Android.

1. Information stored on your device

Sequence stores the following data only on your device's local storage (iOS via Capacitor Preferences, Android via SharedPreferences):

• Your fastest puzzle completion times (the local Top 10 leaderboard)
• Daily solve count and sub-1-minute streak
• App settings (sound on/off, light/dark theme)
• Date the app was first launched (to show the first-run hint once)

This data never leaves your device. Sequence has no server. We can't see it, transmit it, sync it, or back it up.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Sequence displays advertisements served by Google AdMob, operated by Google LLC. AdMob may collect:

• Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
• Approximate location (city/region level, derived from IP)
• Interaction data with ads served in the app (impressions, clicks)
• App and device information (model, OS version, language)

This collection is subject to your device's tracking permissions. On iOS 14.5+, AdMob requests your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before collecting your advertising identifier; if you decline, ads will be non-personalized.

3. Children

Sequence is designed for all ages and does not knowingly direct content specifically to children under 13. Children may play the game on a device shared with their parent or guardian; ad-targeting controls available in the operating system apply at the device level.

4. Your rights and choices

You can clear all local data by deleting and reinstalling Sequence, or by clearing the app's data in your device's system settings.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at the device level:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID, or "Opt out of Ads Personalization"

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Sequence after changes constitutes acceptance.
